Research Scientist  – Microbiological Sciences

A research scientist position is available for immediate hire in the Microbiological Sciences Department, North Dakota State University. The ideal candidate will have a background and knowledge of biotechnology, microbiology, virology or related sciences, and support a busy research program involving viral vaccine development.  The minimum qualifications are a B.S in life sciences and laboratory experience. The candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills, be able to accurately follow standard operating procedures, plan and conduct laboratory experiments and analyze the data produced. Other duties may include maintenance of the laboratory, inventory and working with students and laboratory personnel.
