Type Species: Millotia punctata Cachan, 1952, by original designation.

Tribal Placement: Although Cachan, 1952, originally placed Millotia in the Carpocorini, his concept of this tribe was rather broad, including many genera which are now placed in other tribes. He treated this genus right after the genus Antestia, the type genus for the tribe Antestiini, and right before the genus Tantesia, which indicated that Millotia belongs in the Antestiini.
