Amphimachus Stål, 1868: 511-512. Type Species: Aednus circumflexus StDl, 1855, by original designation. Included Species: circumflexus (Stål) Tribal Placement: StDl (1876) placed Amphimachus in his group "Menida et affinia." Kirkaldy (1909) catalogued it between Aegaleus and Aspideurus, two menidine genera. Comments: References:
