Mycterizon Breddin, 1909: 279. (syn. by Distant, 1918)

Type Species: Dunnius: Rhaphigaster fulvescens Dallas, 1851, by original designation. Mycterizon: Araducta bella Distant, 1900, by monotypy.

Tribal Placement: Distant (1902) originally placed this genus in the Menidini. Kirkaldy (1909) catalogued this genus between Dabessus and Anchesmus, both of which are currently placed in the Menidini. Breddin (1909) indicated that his genus, Mycterizon, was more closely related to Antestia [Antestiini].
