    It is impossible to develop a web site of this size and content without having the help of many individuals.  Although I take full responsibility for the content, and the possible errors include herein, I also acknowledge the contributions of many others who have selfishly provided their thoughts, data, images, etc.  Most important to my development and early career was Dr. L. H. Rolston, Louisiana State University, who nurtured and enhanced my interest in insect systematics.  The development of catalogs, publications, and this web site would not have been possible without his help and encouragement, and as such I dedicate this web site in recognition of his contributions to this interesting group of animals.

    Others have contributed so much, and some are acknowledged separately on various pages of this web site.  I have always held dear the conversations, advice, notes, etc. from such colleagues as Don Thomas, Joe Eger, Fred McDonald, Jocelia Grazia, Carl Schaefer, and Jitka Davidova.  Now there are several young pentatomidologists embarking on stink bug research - I encourage them to continue the tradition of open conversation and the willingness to cooperate.
