Welcome

Welcome to my webpage! My name is Chrysafis Vogiatzis, and I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering at North Dakota State University. My email address is chrysafis(dot)vogiatzis(at)ndsu(dot)edu.

01/03/2018: Happy new year! Starting this date (January 3rd), I am joining the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at North Carolina A&T State University. I will be updating this announcement with my new website as soon as it is available.

10/27/2017: Our latest work entitled "Integer programming models for detecting graph bipartitions with structural requirements" has now appeared online at Networks: http://dx.doi.org/10.1002/net.21786

10/22/2017: Here I am with the exceptional Dr. Marina Epelman and part of the Junior Faculty Interest Group leadership team during this year's INFORMS JFIG Luncheon. Congratulations to all the winners and honorable mentions to the paper competition, and thank you all for your excellent submissions.

My research interests include combinatorial optimization, network optimization, evacuation management. Recently I am working with graph centrality metrics and potential extensions -- see my publication in Optimization LettersI am also working on biological applications (for example, phylogenetic tree analysis, and protein-protein interaction networks).

I graduated with my Ph.D. in Industrial and Systems Engineering under the advisement of Distinguished Professor Panos M. Pardalos in August 2014.
