English Language Test Score Requirements


NDSU accepts the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), the International English Language Testing System - Academic (IELTS - Academic), and the Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic)

The Graduate School requires a minimum TOEFL score of 525 (paper-based) or 71 (Internet-based) - OR - a minimum IELTS (Academic) score of 6.0 - OR - a minimum PTE Academic score of 50. The language test date must be within two years of the date of application to the Graduate School.
