Graduate Center for Writers

The Graduate Center for Writers is a free writing consultation service available to NDSU students. The office is located in the lower level of Putnam Hall.


The NDSU Libraries serve the information needs of North Dakota State University students, faculty and staff. Librarians are available to provide services for specific academic disciplines. Find the Subject Librarian for your department by calling the Reference Desk at (701) 231-8886. In addition to the main library, the following libraries are available: Barry Hall Library, Germans from Russia Heritage Collection, Haakenson Health Sciences Library, Institute for Regional Studies, NDSU University Archives, and the Klai Juba Architecture and Landscape Architecture Library.

Memorial Union

The Memorial Union strives to provide many enriching services necessary for campus life. The NDSU Bookstore, Bison Connection, Dining Services, meeting rooms, Copy Shop, Graphic Services, Hair Salon, US Bank, Art Gallery, Rec & Outing Center, International Programs, Coffee Shop, Multicultural Student Services, the Spectrum, Student Government and Student Life Offices are all located in the MU. We make every effort to provide an environment that enhances learning, offer convenient services and goods that assist students' needs, and strive for the very best customer service.

One Stop

One Stop is a service center that provides information about financial aid, tuition, bill payments, registration, and more. Located in the Memorial Union, helpful full-time staff are available to assist students in person, by phone, or by email.

Wallman Wellness Center

Wallman Wellness Center offers with state-of-the-art fitness equipment, a variety of recreation and intramural programs, effective wellness education, and convenient and affordable child care. The Wellness Center houses 3 basketball courts, 4 racquetball courts and a multipurpose activity courts as well as a 34-foot climbing wall.

Intramural Sports
All students, staff and faculty of North Dakota State University are eligible to participate in any intramural sport at the Wellness Center. Some of the activities offered are basketball, flag football and volleyball.
