Export Coordinator - North Dakota Trade Office

Position: Export Coordinator
Location: Fargo, ND

 

Export Assistants receive a tuition waiver and are paid for working 20 hour a week. Assistantships are provided at local North Dakota companies.

Description:

Assist in administrative duties including:

  • Market research using tools provided by company. This includes internet market research and report preparation. Research will include regulatory, documentation requirements, country issues, commodity classification, etc for local North Dakota companies
  • communicate with local export businesses,
  • assist in event management – order supplies, logistical set-up, designing invitations
  • data and recordkeeping – assisting in managing a dtatbase
  • Assist with administration, data collection, document review, reporting, market Research related to international target markets, export documentation, translation and other activities associated with export may be required
 

Requirements:

Qualifications

  • NDSU Graduate student
  • US Citizenship
  • 20 hours a week
  • Foreign language skills a plus
  • Intermediate knowledge Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) Microsoft Access knowledge preferred but not required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Data entry accuracy 
  • Ability to quickly adjust to moving from tasks to task in a very fast paced environment
  • High standard of personal integrity
  • Ability to prioritize responsibilities with minimal direction
