Grant Coordinator Services

As Grants Consultant in the Graduate Center for Writers, I will be working on grant initiatives for the Graduate Center for Writers and specializing in helping graduate students and faculty with the grant and fellowship writing and application processes. 

How can  I help you?

  • Help with grant searches and optimizing and using the Pivot database
  • Help analyzing and deconstructing RFPs, to make review checklists
  • Help strategizing an application plan and setting deadlines to stay accountable
  • Help finding collaborators inside NDSU or in the community
  • Help with internal paperwork, like Proposal Transmittal Forms
  • Help coordinating grant teams that span multiple colleges on grant projects
  • Help match external organizations with NDSU partners
  • Liaise with Sponsored Programs Administration, Research Development, RCATT, and funding agencies as needed
  • Edit, proof, revise proposal text
  • Conduct pre-submission proposal reviews
  • Analyze reviewer comments and returned proposals for planning resubmission strategies
  • Attend RCA, SPA, Research Development workshops and other trainings to stay up-to-date on funding agencies and funding trends, and then sharing those notes with the colleges
  • Attend grant team meetings
  • Present in graduate classes and department meetings
  • Provide professional development in grantsmanship
