Ceremonial groundbreaking to be held for Sudro Hall expansion project

North Dakota State University leaders, students and other NDSU supporters will hold a ceremonial groundbreaking on Thursday, April 19, to kick off construction of the Sudro Hall expansion project. The ceremony will be held at 1:15 p.m. in Sudro Hall, Room 24.

Sudro Hall, located in the heart of the NDSU campus, is home to the university’s College of Health Professions. The 74,000 square-foot, six-story addition to Sudro Hall is privately funded by alumni and other NDSU supporters. The privately-funded project authorized by the North Dakota Legislature and State Board of Higher Education will accommodate collaborative learning, expand the college's research capabilities and help meet the region's need for health care professionals.

NDSU President Dean Bresciani, College of Health Professions Dean Dr. Charles Peterson and other speakers will share details about the project and its importance to students and the college’s mission.

Parking will be available in Visitor Lot E, directly south of Sudro Hall, or in the Memorial Union parking lot.
