Help us rise to the challenge on Giving Day on December 3!

NDSU Giving Day on Tuesday, December 3 offers a convenient online opportunity to contribute to help future pharmacists, nurses, allied sciences and public health professionals.

A generous donor has made a $1 million challenge to NDSU alumni and friends to help complete the Aldevron Tower building campaign for the College of Health Professions. Your contributions on Giving Day to the Aldevron Tower Fund could help us rise to the challenge.

The clock on the $1 million challenge runs out in December. Your contribution on Giving Day could propel investment in our students to $2 million to enhance health professions education at NDSU. We need to raise more than $355,000 to meet the challenge.

We appreciate your investment in all our students, like Allison Bushaw, pharmacy class of 2024: "It motivates us to work harder and return that good you've shown to pay it forward."

Dave Amundson, the 2019 College of Health Professions Distinguished Alumnus, calls his support of the College a mutual joint venture. The 1971 NDSU pharmacy graduate says philanthropy and gift-giving share something in common.

“You want that person to open up that gift that you got them because you know how spectacular, how wonderful, how extraordinary you’re going to feel when they open that gift and you see how appreciative they are of that,” says Amundson. “That, to me, is philanthropy. That you’re able to see that person shine in a whole different way because they were given an opportunity that they normally wouldn’t have. And I really feel good when I do that.”

Funds raised on Giving Day support scholarships and enhance programs and student opportunities in the College of Health Professions. Contributions make it possible for students to participate in professional meetings, community service and global opportunities.

“We are grateful for the generous support our alumni and friends continue to show as they encourage future health care professionals,” says Charles Peterson, dean of the College of Health Professions.
