Official lighting of Aldevron Tower - new six-story Health Professions building

The six-story Aldevron Tower on NDSU’s campus at Albrecht Blvd and 14th Avenue North will light up the night sky on Saturday, January 11, 2020 when official lighting occurs atop signage on the new building which opens spring semester for Health Professions education.

Aldevron has made significant investments to support the construction of Aldevron Tower and provided funding to create a unique, artistic lighting arrangement on top of the facility. The energy-efficient LED graphics and lights on the top of Aldevron Tower honor the legacy of the company’s roots to NDSU.

Aldevron co-founders Michael Chambers and John Ballantyne are NDSU graduates, proud supporters of the university and look forward to helping advance research and education in scientific fields on campus. Aldevron Tower is an investment in the future of NDSU and a legacy to the great work being done by faculty, students and staff.

The design utilizes Aldevron’s logo, “the spark,” which symbolizes the spark of innovation, ideas, passion and desire to change our world for the better through knowledge, education and practical application. The spark is meant to inspire hope for the people of NDSU and the greater community.

Aldevron Tower is the 74,000-sqare foot, six-story addition to Sudro Hall. It is home to NDSU’s College of Health Professions, which includes pharmacy, nursing, allied sciences and public health academic programs.

Aldevron Tower will be officially dedicated on May 1, 2020 to celebrate the philanthropic impact made by Aldevron and numerous other benefactors who have provided funding for the all-privately financed facility.
