Kick off Homecoming weekend with inflatable games, a DJ, food trucks and activities for the whole family at the Bison Bash at Churchill Field.

The annual homecoming parade is back on NDSU’s main campus for the first time since 2012. The 2023 parade begins on the corner of University and 17th Ave. N., heading south before turning west on 12th Ave.

Applications and Parade Requirements

We have a limited number of spaces in the parade and all applications will be collected on a first-come first-served basis in each of the categories (Business/Community, Student Organizations, NDSU Departments). To apply, please download the correct application and review the requirements.

Entry forms are due by 5 p.m. on Friday, September 8.

Pay Online

All community/business floats need to pay the parade application fee onlineCash and checks will not be accepted.

Please note: A parade application form must be submitted to the Student Activities Office or by email to tryston.simek@ndsu.edu. Payment online does not guarantee a spot in the parade. All entries are complete when both payment and entry form are collected. Spots will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis. If your float is waitlisted and we are unable to provide you with a spot in the parade, your account will be refunded.

 

Political Official/Candidates

Candidates who are running for a congressional, state-elected, state legislature or city/county office are allowed to submit as an independent parade entry and are responsible for the application fee. Student organization sponsorship is no longer required for political entrants.
 
No floats will be accepted that pertain to specific ballot measures.

Free for student organizations and NDSU departments
$75 for community entries

Deadline to submit: Sept. 9 at 5 p.m.

Application will be considered complete once payment AND application have been received by the NDSU Student Activities Office, Memorial Union 120, or by email to one of the parade co-chairs, listed below.

***Late entry fee - $25 for all entries
