Employees Encouraged to Sign up for Electronic W-2 Access

Benefits of Electronic W-2’s...

  • Access from anywhere at any convenient time
  • Online delivery provides access to the W-2 statement earlier than the traditional mail process
  • Online delivery eliminates the chance that your W-2 Statement will get lost, misdirected or delayed during delivery or after receipt
  • Access is available via the same easy-to-use, secure web site employees use to access their pay information
  • Students: be sure to receive your W-2, no matter where you live!
  • Green and Convenient: print only what you need, when you need it

To sign up for electronic delivery of W-2:

  • Access Employee Self-Service by going to: https://www.ndsu.edu/hr/ and clicking on Employee Self-Service (green box on the right side of screen)
  • Once you have successfully logged into the Employee Self-Service system, click on the Payroll tile
  • On the left hand side, click on W-2/W-2C consent
  • Click on the checkbox
  • Click the Submit button and enter your password when prompted

W-2 Address Changes

W-2  Address Changes can be made in Employee Self-Service through December 31, 2018.    If you are not signed up for an Electronic W-2, your W-2 will be mailed to your Home Address (or Mailing Address if you have provided one). 

Instructions to Change Address
Please update your address in Employee Self-Service. If you have trouble logging into Employee Self-Service, call the Help Desk at 701-231-8685 Option 1. The following instructions explain how to update your address:

  1. Access Employee Self-Service by going to: https://www.ndsu.edu/hr/ and clicking on Employee Self-Service (green box on the right side of screen)
  2. Enter your User ID (Usually your UserID is: firstname.lastname)
  3. Enter your Password (If you do not remember your password, please call the Help Desk at 701-231-8685 Option 1)
  4. Click on the Personal Details tile
  5. Review your addresses. If an address needs to be changed, simply click on the address.
  6. Make the appropriate changes to both addresses as needed
  7. Click the save button in the upper right corner of the window
  8. Logout
