Dr. David S Long

Retired from the Air Force after 25 years in various assignments that included system integration, system procurement, flight test, aircraft maintenance (flightline and depot), advanced development, HQ Air Force (Pentagon), PhD Student, Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) instructor, program manager.

Since retiring from the Air Force in 2013, he's worked for several defense contractors. First as a program manager and systems engineer, and then as an AFIT professor of systems engineering. Additionally, he is an adjunct professor for the Engineering Management department at University of Dayton.

He currently teaches graduate courses in systems engineering, systems architecting, program management, and organizational behavior for engineers.
