Welcome from the Director

I am delighted to welcome you to the Institute for the Study of Cultural Diversity!

Although we live in world where bigotry, prejudice and hatred is often seen on the news, we are committed to empowering students to understand, respect and appreciate other cultures.

North Dakota State University has a rich history as an institution of diverse communities, and it is this very diversity that allows for the vibrant and energetic environment found on campus. As such, we always strive to create opportunities for meaningful interactions that transport us beyond any cultural differences that may exist.

We look forward to working with you – as fellow scholars, community members, and world citizens – to achieve our shared goals.

Sincerely,

Robert Littlefield
