NDUS MeetMe Rooms

The NDUS MeetMe rooms are virtual meeting spaces that can be reserved through Microsoft Outlook and then accessed through videoconference rooms, computers, mobile devices, and phones. They allow users to quickly launch a full multipoint videoconference connection. Simply search for an available NDUS MeetMe Room in the Outlook room list and reserve it at the time of your meeting. You will receive an email notification of the successful reservation with all needed connection details. See the manual for more detailed instructions:

Multipoint videoconference connections scheduled through the NDSU IVN Coordinator can now be accessed through the Pexip Desktop, Web, or Mobile App on your computer or mobile device. Below is the documentation for supported browsers and devices.

Simply download and install the app on your computer. The only setting you need to adjust is entering "join.nd.gov" in the Server address field and you are ready to connect.

Blackboard Collaborate Ultra

Blackboard Collaborate Ultra is a videoconference software accessible to all NDSU faculty through Blackboard. After selecting your course, go into the "Tools" section and click on the Blackboard Collaborate Ultra icon. This will start a videoconference connection accessible to all students in your class. In the connection, all participants can share video, audio, and their computer screen with each other. The software furthermore allows for breakout groups, shared whiteboard annotation, and recording. For more information, please visit the Instructional Services' Bb Collaborate Ultra page

Skype for Business

Skype for Business is available to all students, faculty, and staff in the North Dakota University System. It allows you to find users in the directory and send messages to their Skype for Business client. Chats can easily be escalated into audio and/or video calls with screen sharing and remote control capabilities. Additionally, users not affiliated with any NDUS institution can be invited into a call through a simple web link requiring no authentication or software install.
