IVN Scheduling Information
IVN Public Rooms can be scheduled free of charge by NDSU faculty, staff and students for a variety of activities as long as they are official university business. Examples of acceptable use of IVN Public Rooms are credit and non-credit classes, business meetings, thesis or dissertation defenses and job interviews (by registered NDSU students only). Scheduling a Course in an IVN Room
IVN Public Rooms can be used free of charge for NDSU credit classes. All 11 NDUS institutions have rooms available that can be scheduled and connected with each other. NDUS program classes will receive first priority for scheduling and regular NDUS classes will receive second priority in IVN Rooms. Upon the successful scheduling of all NDUS classes for a semester, IVN Public Rooms will be available for general schedule requests on a first come, first served basis.
Scheduling a Meeting in an IVN Room
IVN Public Rooms can be used free of charge for official university business meetings by faculty, staff and students. Meetings can be scheduled after the initial class schedule period has passed. Please contact the IVN site coordinator for scheduling dates and deadlines.
Scheduling by Non-NDUS Groups
Any non-NDUS group or organization (including state agencies, K-12 schools, or non-profit organizations) may schedule the use of NDUS IVN sites for meetings or events. Videoconferencing activity is restricted to users who are educational, governmental, or non-profit in nature. When the request involves the use of an IVN Public Room, these events will require a dedicated technician at all times. IVN will bill the client for fees at $10/hour. In addition, non-NDUS requests for the use of IVN Public Rooms will also be charged additional fees as outlined here. Please contact the NDSU IVN Coordinator for more information.
