System Requirements for ITS-supported computers
Workstation computers that are supported by ITS Desktop Support must meet the following hardware and software requirements to be joined to the domain.
To be supported by Desktop Support in the domain, computers must be running Windows 10.
Note: Windows 7 will continue to work on campus after support ends but will be blocked from the network starting January 14th due to end-of-life for updates from Microsoft.
For information about upgrading to Windows 10, talk to your departmental software contact.
Hardware that is approximately 5 years of age or newer will be supported. All HP systems should be able to join the domain.
