Self Install for ITS Managed Computers

Windows - Software Center

 

Desktop Support uses Microsoft Software Center to deploy software, updates and patches to windows computers that are managed by ITS.  The most common applications are Windows updates and small technical patches for updated computer health.  We are also using Software Center to make available the following 'No Cost' applications:

SAS 9.4,  SPSS 25,  JMP 14

In Windows 10, click the Start button and type "software center" it the search box - OR - click Start, select Microsoft System Center, select Software Center.  Simply click the application you want to install and follow the instructions.

MAC - Self Service

 

Desktop Support uses Casper Self Service to deploy software, updates and patches to Macintosh computers that are managed by ITS.  The most common applications are macintosh updates and small technical patches for updated computer health.  We are also using Service Center to make available the following 'No Cost' applications:

Microsoft Office 2019

On you Mac,  Hold down the Command button and press the Space Bar and type "self service" and press Enter - OR - Select Go, Applications and double click on the Self Service icon.

Simply click the application you want to install and follow the instructions.
