Set up NDSU Email
on your computer

It is recommended to use Microsoft Outlook 2016 for a more consistent experience with your Office 365 account. Instructions for this supported option are available below.

Settings for other non-supported options, including Mail for Mac and IMAP/POP, are also available below.

Outlook 2016
  1. Open Outlook
  2. If you are using the Windows version of Outlook, enter a Profile Name and click OK
  3. Enter your NDSU email username (typically
  4. Click Connect
  5. Enter your N.D. University System ID password
  6. Click Sign in
  7. Click OK once the setup is complete
  8. Outlook should then automatically open
Non-Supported Client Settings

Below are settings for other non-supported clients. You can use these settings to configure other Exchange clients or IMAP clients other than Outlook.

Exchange Settings:

  • Username/Email Address: NDSU email username (typically
