Go Mobile with Blackboard!

An Interactive Experience Here, There, Everywhere

Blackboard currently has three different apps available for iOS, Android, and Windows mobile devices for both instructors and students:

  • The Blackboard app (previously Blackboard Student) - designed especially for students to view content and participate in courses.

  • Blackboard Instructor - enables instructors to view course content, connect with students in discussions, and interact with a class in Blackboard Collaborate.

  • Bb Grader (for Instructors) - provides instructors with a portable solution for reviewing, providing feedback, and grading Blackboard assignment and portfolio submissions - it does not allow grading of Blackboard tests or other items.

Blackboard Mobile Learn Users - Please Note:

Support for the older Mobile Learn app ended on 8/31/17. The Mobile Learn app was removed from app stores on 8/1/17.

Current Mobile Learn users can continue to use Mobile Learn after this date; however, Blackboard cannot guarantee continued usability of this app. We strongly recommend that you uninstall Mobile Learn and install either the Blackboard app or Blackboard Instructor on your mobile device.

Mobile Learn is a 32-bit app and will not work on devices running iOS 11.

Bb Grader (instructors only) - More information/Download the App - Bb Grader allows instructors to grade Blackboard submitted student assignments from their iOS device (allows voice feedback recording but does not allow manual, test/quiz, or Discussion Board, Wiki, Journal, or Blog post grading).
