Multi-Factor Authentication for HRMS Self-Service and Finance Portal

Summary: beginning April 4, NDSU employees will need to use multi-factor authentication to verify their identity before accessing specific information within HRMS Self-Service or logging into the PeopleSoft Finance portal. To use multi-factor authentication, each person will need to enroll themselves using a web portal.* The N.D. University System is making this change to provide additional security to these systems.

Summary:  beginning April 4, NDSU employees will need to use multi-factor authentication to verify their identity before accessing specific information within HRMS Self-Service or logging into the PeopleSoft Finance portal.  To use multi-factor authentication, each person will need to enroll themselves using a web portal.*  The N.D. University System is making this change to provide additional security to these systems.

Who needs to enroll in multi-factor authentication:  ALL employees need to set up multi-factor authentication. Those who use the Finance portal must do so before April 4.

From off-campus, how to access HRMS Self-Service:  on April 4, all access will again be through the regular URL instead of the temporary VPN currently in place
