Update: Blackboard upgrade, outage moved to Dec. 26-28

Update: The Blackboard upgrade and outage has been moved to Dec. 26-28.

Blackboard will be unavailable 5 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 26, until noon Thursday, Dec. 28. The Blackboard Manager application used to activate, copy and merge courses also will be unavailable.

The upgrade will provide a new inline grading tool to replace "Crocodoc." It also will fix reported bugs, including the scroll bar that currently displays in the middle of the rightmost Grade Center column.

When scheduling the December upgrade, we took into account which dates would be least disruptive for students and faculty. While the outage is scheduled to last until noon Thursday, Blackboard may become available as early Wednesday afternoon.
