The following is an important update for instructors using the ITS-supported Turning Technologies clickers.
Before the start of fall 2017, NDSU upgraded to the new TurningPoint 8 (TurningPoint Desktop) software. TurningPoint 8 is installed on instructor workstations in all instrumented classrooms at NDSU.
Instructors who currently have the older TurningPoint Cloud software installed on their desktop computers and/or on a USB storage/receiver labeled TurningPoint Cloud must begin using the new TurningPoint 8 application.
Before your first class using clickers, ITS will replace your existing TurningPoint Cloud USB storage/receivers with a new TurningPoint 8 storage/receiver.
Instructors can pick up their replacement USB storage/receivers at the Technology Learning and Media Center in Quentin Burdick Building 150C beginning at 9 a.m., Tuesday, January 9.
Instructors can also view instructions for exporting/importing data from the previous storage/receiver to the new device.
