Email and Office 365 Migration
NDSU email, calendar and other Microsoft Office 365 services were moved to the North Dakota University System’s Office 365 service on Friday, March 10.
The migration process is now complete.
If you are experiencing any issues, please contact the IT Help Desk.
Your username and password changed:
Students, faculty and staff now log in to email using the following format:
Username: Your System ID @ndus.edu (that's right – @ndus is not a typo!)
Password: Your System ID password
The System ID and password are what students use to log in to Campus Connection (e.g., register for classes, check official grades) and employees use to log in to HR Self-Service (e.g., view paycheck, check leave balance).
The password expires every 90 days.
Your official email address:
While your username and password changed, official email addresses for students, faculty and staff continue to be @ndsu.edu. This means:
- Email sent to your @ndsu.edu address is delivered to your new account
- Email sent from your new account appears to be from your @ndsu.edu address
- Your @ndsu.edu address is listed in the NDSU Directory
Services included in this move:
All student, faculty and staff accounts were included in the move. This change affected all Office 365 services, including:
- Class Notebook
- Office ProPlus
- OneDrive for Business
- Skype for Business / Lync
Click each service for more information about how these services were affected by the move.
