CMS (TYPO3): Email Forms

Fill-in-the-blank email forms are another great CMS feature! You can quickly create these forms so visitors can complete and submit requests, information, etc. online. Form submissions are collected via email. Learn how to create these email forms in CMS, and when you should or should not use them in this class!

Note: The process of creating these forms in TYPO3 has changed significantly with the TYPO3 upgrade at NDSU in April, 2017 - attend this class to learn how to use the new forms interface!

What you'll learn:

  • Appropriate uses for CMS email forms
  • How to create and/or edit an email form by adding text boxes, check boxes, radio buttons, etc. using the Form Wizard
  • Collecting form responses
  • Creating a customized form confirmation page users see after submitting a form

Pre-requisites: Completion of "CMS (TYPO3) Basics" or experience using the CMS system at NDSU.
