CMS (TYPO3): Improving Accessibility

Web Accessibility means designing the Web so that all people can use it, but it usually refers specifically to designing pages so users with varying physical capabilities have equal access to the Web and equal opportunities to use it. It's vital that the Web be accessible!

In this 1-hour session you'll learn some simple, but effective techniques you can use to make your sites more accessible.

We'll focus specifically on:

  • When to use Tables (and how to make them accessible when you do)
  • Using Headings correctly
  • Making images accessible
  • Improving your links

Pre-requisites: Completion of "CMS (TYPO3) Basics" or experience using the CMS system at NDSU.
