Microsoft Office Applications
The Microsoft Office suite of applications includes Access (a database application for tracking larger amounts of data), Excel (a spreadsheet application suitable for "number-crunching"), Word (a word processor), PowerPoint (for creating electronic presentations), Publisher (a desktop publishing application), OneNote (a digital organization and research tool), and Outlook (an email and personal organizer application).
ITS now provides training using the Office 2013 versions of all of the Office applications; however, all of the available training is also appropriate for users of Office 2007, Office 2010, and Office 2011 for Macintosh users.
Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Certification Training
ITS currently offers two series of Excel training sessions designed to help NDSU staff and faculty members prepare to take the Excel MOS and Excel MOS Expert Certification exams. Check out the Excel class descriptions for information about each series.
