Meet Our Staff
Steve Beckermann, M.Ed.
Learning & Applied Innovation, Assistant Manager
Sharley Kurtz, M.S.
Technology Learning & Media Center / ITS
In addition to full-time staff members, TLMC is staffed by student learning assistants, who come from diverse academic fields and possess a wide range of computer skills. Although all learning assistants can work with general computing topics, each learning assistant has specific areas of expertise, which are posted in the lab and in the table below.
Learning assistants' lab hours are posted in the lab in the Quentin Burdick Building 150C. Or call the lab at 231-5130 to find out when a learning assistant is on duty. You do not need to call ahead to meet with a learning assistant; they are available on a walk-in basis.
PLEASE NOTE: TLMC learning assistants are not equipped to handle hardware repairs and do not support some department-specific specialized software including Mathematica, SPSS, and SAS.
