SafeAssign can prevent plagiarism, protect the originality of work, and create awareness and educate students about plagiarism.
Instructors can set up SafeAssignments in their Blackboard courses so that student work submitted via these assignments is checked against several comprehensive databases. Instructors and students can also upload assignments directly to SafeAssign for comparison.
The assignments are delivered to the instructor along with originality reports in Blackboard so the instructor can decide whether plagiarism occurred.
