The 2nd Annual AoSD (Avenues of Scientific Discovery) took place on April 7 in the Memorial Union Great Plains Ballroom at NDSU. One hundred and fifty area high school students were given the chance to participate in hands-on activities from various scientific fields.

VMS Graduate Students played a major role in organizing the event, and the VMS booth, with microbe art and pond water protozoans, was one of the best on show (no bias, of course).

AoSD was featured on Valley News Live’s Valley Today. Check out Breanne, Adam, Chelsey and Jennifer in the video clips on our home page.
