The U.S. Department of Agriculture, the American Association of State Colleges and Universities, and the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities recently announced the 2013 winners of the National Teaching Awards for Food and Agriculture Sciences. One of those regional winners was our very own Janice Haggart.

Janice’s 18 years of service and innovative teaching success was honored in a ceremony this past weekend in Washington, DC. She was recognized for “going above and beyond to stimulate intellectual and personal
growth in students.”

She was the first NDSU instructor to receive this major award, and if you click here, you can read more about this honor on the NDSU news page.
