The Memorial Union Gallery is interested in creating an interesting and accessible space for creative reflection and expression. There are amazing possibilities to make the Gallery a place for artists, for writers, for dancers, for musicians, for debaters and on and on and on. Work for the Gallery
The Gallery has openings throughout the year for new staff members. There are three things that will help your chances for being hired with the Gallery: 1. Participate with events 2. Volunteer when you have the time and 3. Fill out an application HERE
Every exhibition is a great opportunity to collaborate with our partners in the University Community. If you have an idea for a way we can be better work together, please let us know. There are great opportunities with the Collection, with promotion, with festivals and within our community, so if you have an idea and would like to invite the Gallery to participate or host an event, please write us at firstname.lastname@example.org under the subject line: Collaborate.
The Memorial Union Gallery features 12-15 interdisciplinary and multimedia exhibitions each year. Exhibitions range from student and visiting artist shows and from traveling exhibitions to experimental exhibitions. The Memorial Union Gallery Coordinator develops exhibition schedules each year. The Gallery accepts exhibition proposals on a rolling basis from artists and makers at all stages in their careers. Proposals should include the following:
1. Contact Information
2. Short Exhibition Proposal / Artist statement
3. Five (5) High Resolution images of work (1000px at longest end)
