The mission of the Outing Trips is to offer a variety of skill-based trips and events. The program also endeavors to offer group opportunities to attend a variety of events and attractions in the tri-state area. Outing Trips offerings are intended to meet the needs of NDSU students, faculty, and staff as well as community members.

Mail or phone registrations are not accepted. Because participant levels are limited, enrollment is on a first-come first serve basis. All participants in the MU Breaks program must be at least 18 years of age the day of registration.
Cancellations: All trip cancellations must be made at least three business days in advance. Cancellations made more than three business days in advance will receive a refund for 90% of their registration fee. Cancellations made less than three business days before the trip will forfeit all registration fees. If a trip, workshop or clinic is cancelled by the Outing Center, a full refund will be given.
The programs operated by the Outing Center are Drug and Alcohol free. These are not permitted at any point during the trip, workshop or clinic. If person(s) are found to be in violation of this policy, the Outing Center staff has the right to remove the participant from the trip. The participant will be responsible for arranging return transportation at their own expense.
Mall of America Trip
Looking to get in some shopping? Having a hard time finding that perfect gift? Then join us on an 8-hour shopping and recreation event in the largest indoor retail complex in the United States. The Mall of America is home to more than 520 stores, 86 restaurants and specialty food stores, and an amusement park. We will leave the Memorial Union at 7A.M. and return at 11:30P.M. Participants must register at the Recreation and Outing Center.
