Cucullia luna Morrison 1875

Common name: listed here as ‘Satin hooded-owlet.’

Hodges #: 10205.

Identification: Rfw 18.1 mm, ground color white, wings with satiny sheen, fw with a few black spots in discal cell and along inner margin; pro-tibia with large terminal ‘claw.’

Similar species: 8134, 8144, 10692.

Distribution: northern Great Plains from central Canada to Nebraska, southwestward in the Rockies to central Arizona.

Hosts: unknown.
