Agrotis stigmosa Morrison 1874
| Common name: no accepted common name,
listed here as 'Fuscous sandhill dart.' Hodges #: 10658. Identification: Rfw 16.36 mm; deep brown scales between orbicular and reniform, costal margin dark, remaining fw clay colored, paler than fuscous hws. Ptagiae pale; tegulae tricolored, pale basad with both black and brown transverse lines. Male with bifasciculate, biserrate antennae. All tibiae setose. Eyes without hair, frons with a raised ring. Similar species: 10648, 10650, 10651, 10659, 10660, 10807, and 10943. Distribution: central Canada and northern United States from the Rockies to the Atlantic.. Hosts: Larvae on Achillea millfolium-- yarrow.
