Euxoa oberfoelli Hardwick 1973

Common name: No accepted common name, listed here as ‘Oberfoell's dart.'

Hodges #: 10818.

Identification: Rfw ,  Combination of pale costa and reniform, and round orbicular spot, frons with median tubercle.  Genitalic characters are used for certain separation from a few close congeners: harpe straight and without pubescence, vesica with small bi-lobed sub-basal diverticulum.  

Similar species: 10674, 10675, 10676, 10817, 10826, 10851, 10891 and 10878.

Distribution: Great Plains states and provinces: northern Texas to southern Saskatchewan.

Hosts: unknown. appears to be associated with native prairie lands.  On average, flies later in the season and in drier habitats than E. obeliscoides.
