Euxoa oblongistigma (Smith [1888])

Common name: no accepted common name, listed here as 'Oblong spot dart.'

Hodges #: 10834.

Identification: Rfw 13.5- 15  mm, R stem and am area in discal cell with white scales, orbicular spot white,  oblong, four white streaks in st. area; Hw white with light fuscous margin, black terminal line and white fringe, overall darker in &&.  Male antennae moderately bifasciculate; note generic characters of Euxoa (Euxoa).  

Similar species: 10731, 10741, 10768, 10804, 10830, 10831, 10833, 10836, 10839,
10861.1, and 10976.  

Distribution: western North America from southern Canada to NM, AZ, and CA, in the north, ranging eastward onto the western Great Plains..

Hosts: Larval hosts are unknown.
