Eurois occulta (Linnaeus 1758)
| Common name: Great gray dart/ Great brochade.
Hodges #: 10929. Identification: Rfw 26.3 mm, fw irrorate with gray, black and white scales, hw fuscous with contrasting white fringe, fore tibia with mesal and lateral setae. Similar species: 9200, 10275, 10276, 10280, 10291, 10930, 11000, and 11001. Distribution: Boreal zone species ranging from southern Alaska to the Atlantic, south to the northern United States and in the Rockies to Arizona. Hosts: Larvae feed on Larix laricina (DuRoi) K. Koch.– Tamarack, Symphoricarpos spp.– Snowberry, and Spiraea latifolia (Ait.) Borkh.– meadowsweet.
