Anaplectoides pressus (Grote 1874)
| Common name: Dappled dart Hodges #: 11001. Identification: Rfw 17.12 mm, fw crossed by green streaks, fading to yellow in preserved specimens; fw irrorate with gray, black and white scales; hw whitish with fuscous marginal and post medial bands with darker discal lunule. Fore tibia with a few mesal and lateral setae apically. Eyes without surface hair. Similar species: 9348, 10275, 10276, 10300, 10929, and 11000. Distribution: Northern species occurring from Alaska to Nova Scotia and into northern United States, ranging southward in the Rockies. Hosts: Larvae feed on Larix-- Larch, Salix-- willow, Betula-- birch, Alnus-- alder.
