Choristoneura rosaceana (Harris 1841)

Common name: Oblique-banded leafroller.

Hodges #: 3635.

Identification: Rfw 9.7 mm, fw mottled brown, inner line of median fascia complete, male fw with coastal fold, male antennae lacking basal notch; hws of male ivory white, fuscous at tornus and tinged with orange apically; hws of female pale orange, fuscous at tornus.

Similar species: 3594, 3632, 3634, 3653, 3661.

Distribution: southern Canada and U. S.

Hosts: Larvae are general feeders on deciduous trees and shrubs.
