Chrysoteuchia topiaria (Zeller 1866)
| Common name: Cranberry girdler.
Hodges #: 5391. Identification: Rfw 8.5 mm, fw fringe metallic gold, terminal line represented by spots on lower half of wing, discal cell fuscous, proboscis with scales at base. Similar species: 2998, 5399, 5403, 5417. Distribution: southern Canada and U. S. Hosts: many species of grasses and forbs. Injurious to Vaccinium angustifolium Ait.– blueberry and V. macrocarpon Ait.– cranberry in the northeast.
