Drepana arcuata Walker 1855

Common name: Arched hooktip.

Hodges #: 6251.

Identification: Rfw 14.3 mm, fw apex falcate, outer element of pm line extends to apex, outer margin weakly sinuate; hw Sc+R separate throughout its length from Rs.

Similar species: 6252, 6255.

Distribution: southern Canada and temperate eastern United States.

Hosts: Larvae feed on Alnus– alders and Betula– birches.
