Gluphisia septentrionis Walker 1855

Common name: Common gluphisia

Hodges #: 7931

Identification: Rfw 13.4 mm, with a row of raised metallic scales.  Eyes hairy; hind tibiae with a single pair of spurs. 

Similar species: 7933, 7935, 7937, 7939, 7930, 7673.

Distribution: southern Canada northern and temperate United States.

Hosts: Larval feed on Poplars- Populus spp.
