Eilema bicolor (Grote 1864)

Common name: Bi-colored lichen moth.

Hodges #: 8043.

Identification: Rfw 12.7 mm, Palpi short, ocelli absent, tegulae and costal margin of fw yellow.

Similar species:  8045.1, 2415

Distribution: Southern Canada, and northern U.S., south in Rockies to Colorado.

Hosts: Larvae feed on lichens associated with conifers.
