Common name: Toothed somberwing.

Hodges #: 8731.

Identification: Rfw 15 mm, ventral wings dark with broad pale margins, lower half of frons glossy.

Similar species: 8738, 8739.

Distribution: southern Canada, northern and temperate United States south to Arizona.

Hosts: general feeder on clovers and grasses.
