Abrostola urentis Guenée 1852

Common name: Small gray looper moth.

Hodges #: 8881.

Identification: Rfw 13.5 mm, fw crossed by ridges of raised scales.  No silvery stigma.  Eyes lashed but not hairy. 

Similar species: 10569.

Distribution: southern Canada and northern United States, southward east of the Rockies.

Hosts: Larvae on Urticaceae.
