Plusia venusta Walker 1865

Common name: Listed here as 'Thin-streaked looper moth.'

Hodges #: 8953.

Identification: Rfw 14.9 mm, fw orange-brown, with two thin oblong silvery streaks, apical streak somewhat evanescent, fw inner margin not concave before tornus.

Similar species: 8950, 8952, 10447.

Distribution: southern Canada and northern United States.

Hosts: Larvae feed on Poaceae– grasses.
